My interest in photography grew from a desire to document the flowers in my garden, as gardening has always been a passion of mine. From there I started producing greeting cards to sell to friends and a few businesses. I eventually switched from an old Minolta SLR to a Canon DSLR and absolutely love it. I need to understand the basics of photography better, as I have not had any training in photography. I am working at learning Photoshop CS2 and have found that the tips I have picked up since joining DPC have made me a much better photographer. I have 5 little grandchildren who are excellent subjects for the gazillions of photographs I have taken of them to the delight of their parents.
Thank you I will bring my mug tonight....looking forward to coming no matter how tired I am from a crazy Wed at the office,...my wonderful Jamie is resigning today I am so sad...he is the best guy to work with...anyways, I have 12 clients and go go go pace...it will be an event today...for sure. Jamie is starting his own business, he is a hearing specialist...
Hi Laurie,
Just wanted to say thannks for the awesome "Thank You" card and was wondering where the old house is. It's so cool. I'd love to see a Title and place on the back. Great image!
Cheers

Hi Laurie,
Are you back from your holidays yet? Where did you go?
The "Grandpa Glory Days" are my wifes dads skates from way back when. We found them hanging in the old barn almost as you see them in the photo. I thought this would make a cool "Painted with Light" subject and trying to keep the look of how we saw them hung up in the barn. See you 2night.

Hi Laurie,
Of the last four images I've sent in which one do you like the best?
Cheers

Thanks for the well wishes, Laurie. Really enjoyed your albums, some very special ones there. Can't believe how Avery has grown. It really happens in a blink, doesn't it?
Enjoy your vacation, looking forward to those pics!
