About Me
I've enjoyed being a club member since Jan./07. My interest in photography began many years ago when I was given a Pentax SP 1000 just prior to a trip to Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Sadly, the Pentax was stolen and I moved on. I've never moved on from my passions for photography and travel.

In 2014 CAPA adopted the New International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) nature definition as follows:

Nature photography is restricted to the use of the photographic process to depict all branches of natural history, except anthropology and archaeology, in such a fashion that a well-informed person will be able to identify the subject material and certify its honest…

Kelby Walk a Success... in spite of elements

Thanks to Francis, our leader and Val, route planner, this event was a hit regardless of the uncooperative weather. About 30 photographers dressed in all forms of raingear, walked the route, took a ton of images, enjoyed each others' comraderie and ate a hearty lunch. There were photogs from Vancouver, Langley and Burnaby as well as a strong DPC representation.

The first photo of Francis and Val is foggy because the lens on my camera was.

Great Walk, Francis and Val!…
