We are meeting at the BC Waterfowl Society or George Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary on West ham island at 8:30am...and warming hut at 10:00 am to discuss coffee location...rain or shine...(let it shine)...we will see eagles, owls, wood ducks sand hill cranes, red wing/black birds, night herons etc...Come one come all and explore the amazing migration of wildlife!!!!!

Tofino is the best even after going once a year for 15 years I never see the same thing twice, and discovered Tonquin beach for the first time...so much fun!!!!

In our backyard in Ladner or Tsawwassen so many owls and migrating birds right now...At Riefel where I work part time I have seen four owls a day...great horned, saw wits, hawkowl, bart owl, barn owls, shortear etc...it's a festival of nature...nature at it's best....too many forget "not to use flash" on the subject and scare them to death...I have been very disappointed in the way photographers disrespect nature...I always say, let the birds come to you before a storm ...that is my secret...much more interesting too...the birds hide out from the wind and you bond under the same tree..."Please respect wildlife, don't break branches to get your image, this brings predator later to kill the little saw wits"....
